Welcome to the Beery Hikers' blog

Hi everyone. This is the blog of the Beery Hikers. This year will be our third annual cross-country charity pub-crawl. We'll be walking from Tunbridge Wells to Shoreham-by-sea (about 50 miles) over three days, via as many pubs as is sensible.

Our chosen charity this year is the Multiple Sclerosis Society as one of our original team, who won't be joining us this time due to work commitments, was diagnosed with MS this year.

We've set up a page on Justgiving that enables you donate Quickly and conveniently. Please give generously.

The dates for the "crawl" are Friday 25th September to Sunday 27th September. You can keep track of our progress here on this blog.

So how far did we go in the end?

I just sorted out the track data from the GPS, and added it up and...
Day 1: 17 Miles
Day 2: 18.1 Miles
Day 3: 17 miles
Total: 52.1 Miles!!!

No wonder my feet hurt.
