Welcome to the Beery Hikers' blog

Hi everyone. This is the blog of the Beery Hikers. This year will be our third annual cross-country charity pub-crawl. We'll be walking from Tunbridge Wells to Shoreham-by-sea (about 50 miles) over three days, via as many pubs as is sensible.

Our chosen charity this year is the Multiple Sclerosis Society as one of our original team, who won't be joining us this time due to work commitments, was diagnosed with MS this year.

We've set up a page on Justgiving that enables you donate Quickly and conveniently. Please give generously.

New Socks Old Boots

For those of you interested on my footwear choice, for this year's walk I will be mostly wearing my Oakley walking boots which came apart last year (upper from sole) but seem to be OK now:



I shall also be wearing the nice new socks wot Dave bought me for my birthday.

Trews are Bear Grylls.
